Q2 fundraising reports: because there's nothing more patriotic...

by: Dante Atkins (hekebolos)

...than gobs and gobs of dollars to fuel political campaigns.

Russ Warner's campaign in CA-26 is reporting over $100,000 raised, with around $150,000 COH.

Unfortunately, that's all I can find for California Q2 right now.  Maybe I should leave this to the professionals like Dave Dayen.  Post reports in the comments, and I'll keep updating.

I few underdogs may release early to try for momentum but most  challengers and almost all incumbents will wait for the deadline.

as far as I can see not one Democratic House candidate has actually filed their numbers with the FEC yet, including Warner.

Remember too that we already have the Pre-primary May 15 report from everyone, so we have a sense of how they performed at the halfway mark of the quarter.

James L. noted over at SSP this line from the release:

With the general election more than 16 months away,

This would imply that this was the 2007 Q2 report, rather than this year's Q2 report.

This doesn't look like a current reporting with this quote--- (0.00 / 0)
"With the general election more than 16 months away"

Probably best to check opensecrets.org rather than a press release if you really want to know--here's what they're showing right now:
http://www.opensecrets.org/rac...
District 26 David Dreier (R)*  $875,571
Russell Warner (D)  $539,143
Ted Brown (L)  $0
