This brings Emblem&#8217;s local Democratic club endorsement tally up to three, which has her closing in on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.busbyforcongress.com\/\">Francine Busby<\/a>, her competitor for incumbent Republican <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bilbrayforcongress.com\/\">Brian Bilbray<\/a>&#8216;s seat. The other local clubs endorsing Emblem include: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ncwdc.com\/\">North County Women&#8217;s Democratic Club<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ladc.sddem.org\/\">Latino American Democratic Club<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Four local clubs have endorsed Busby thus far: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.chicanodemocrats.com\/\">Chicano Democratic Association<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sddemoclub.org\/endorsements_current.html\">San Diego Democratic Club<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sdcyoungdemocrats.com\/\">San Diego County Young Democrats<\/a>, and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rsfdemclub.org\/\">Rancho Santa Fe Democratic Club<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>PDA is the second <a href=\"http:\/\/www.examiner.com\/x-32737-San-Diego-Democrat-Examiner~y2009m12d29-Democrats-101-What-are-the-major-ideological-differences-within-the-party\">progressive<\/a> organization to endorse Emblem this week. The <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/progressivepush.org\/\">Progressive Push PAC<\/a> endorsed Emblem on Saturday. Luis A. Cuevas, the National Director, stated on Emblem&#8217;s Facebook page that he was proud to endorse &#8220;the real progressive in California&#8217;s 50th Congressional District race&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Emblem has the formal endorsement of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.examiner.com\/x-32737-San-Diego-Democrat-Examiner~y2009m12d20-CA50-Local-labor-unions-line-up-to-endorse-Tracy-Emblem-for-US-Congress-in-the-50th\">four local labor unions<\/a>, while Busby has the endorsement of a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nwpc.org\/\">national women&#8217;s political caucus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><p>However, four San Diego Democratic clubs have withheld endorsements for this seat: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mesa.sddem.org\/\">Mesa Democratic Club<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lsm.sddem.org\/\">Lake San Marcos Democratic Club<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blackmountaindemocrats.org\/\">Black Mountain Democratic Club<\/a>, and the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/demcco.netrootz.com\/\">Democratic Club of Oceanside\/Carlsbad<\/a>.
