{"id":14112,"date":"2012-01-12T00:49:24","date_gmt":"2012-01-12T00:49:24","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2012-01-12T00:49:24","modified_gmt":"2012-01-12T00:49:24","slug":"dan-logue-moves-between-his-dozens-of-homes-to-find-a-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/calitics.com\/index.php\/2012\/01\/12\/dan-logue-moves-between-his-dozens-of-homes-to-find-a-district\/","title":{"rendered":"Dan Logue Moves Between His Dozens of Homes to Find A District"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Prop 23 anti-environmentalist searches for a district<\/i><\/p>\n<p>by Brian Leubitz<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know that I would write another post in the same day about legislators looking for a district if it weren&#8217;t for what just might be the best quote ever. &nbsp;To summarize, Logue had been saying that he was going to move a bit to the East to run in the North Eastern AD-01 so that he wouldn&#8217;t have to run against fellow incumbent Jim Nielsen. &nbsp;Nielsen now says that he isn&#8217;t going to run for re-election, instead waiting for Doug LaMalfa&#8217;s seat to open up should he win his race for Congress, which seems likely. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, apparently Logue wasn&#8217;t really all that committed to AD-01, because he&#8217;s back looking at AD-03, a district based around Chico. All that is just your normal redistricting year <a href=\"https:\/\/calitics.com\/diary\/14108\/herger-out-lamalfa-in-and-herzberg-to-challenge-pavley\">Merry-go-round fallout from the Herger\/LaMalfa switch<\/a>. So, why am I writing about this? Well, there&#8217;s this quote from Mr. We Can&#8217;t Afford to Care About the Environment:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I have 10 houses in the 3rd Assembly District, so I am just going to pick one of the houses that I already own and we will be residing there,&#8221; Logue said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ok, that&#8217;s all. &nbsp;Logue will pick from one of his 10 houses in the district and live there. Fantastic.
