Warren Furutani, who is still eligible for one more term. He <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sacbee.com\/capitolalertlatest\/2012\/01\/assemblyman-warren-furutani-loses-bid-for-la-city-council.html\">lost his race for LA City Council to LAPD officer Joe Buscaino<\/a>, and has been drawn in a seat along with Asm. Isadore Hall. Should be an interesting race if he decides to run again.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, <a href=\"http:\/\/latimesblogs.latimes.com\/california-politics\/2012\/01\/state-gop-sen-bob-dutton-announces-run-for-congress.html\">Bob Dutton plans on running for CA-31<\/a> to replace Jerry Lewis. &nbsp;Democratic Mayor of Redlands Pete Aguilar is also in that race. &nbsp;It is a swing district, but Dutton has a ready name advantage.<\/p>\n<p>As expected, Tony Strickland announced <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sacbee.com\/capitolalertlatest\/2012\/01\/california-gop-sen-tony-strickland-launches-bid-for-congress.html\">that he will be running in CA-26<\/a> in what will be heated <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aroundthecapitol.com\/districts\/CD26\/\">open race<\/a>.
