Four major companies&#8211;Kimberly Clark (Kleenex, Scott toilet paper), General Motors, Chrysler and International Paper&#8211;have even launched a major lobbying campaign in the state to save their selfish loophole. They are happy, obviously, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.consumerwatchdog.org\/newsrelease\/%E2%80%98flush-tax-evader-toilet-paper%E2%80%99-group-says-california-governor-mayors\">cheating the state<\/a> of a billion or more dollars a year that could keep teachers in jobs, the disabled out of nursing homes and parks open.<\/p>\n<p>Now there&#8217;s a ballot initiative, Prop 39, that&#8217;s aimed at closing the tax loophole, and one of its first public blasts is <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/4PFNfB_0kpg\">this funny video<\/a>, &#8220;The Tax Dodger Olympic Dash&#8221;&#8211;track and field for billionaires.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/4PFNfB_0kpg?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Along with the video is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scribd.com\/doc\/102312382\/The-Tax-Dodger-Hypocrisy-Final-Report#fu\">text tidbit<\/a>, revealing that the same companies fighting to keep their loophole in California fought just as hard to keep such tax loopholes out of their home states.
