We spent a bunch of money to approve a worthless proposition (1F) and decided that separate but equal was cool for some. But on we go, so here are the links:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Arnold will be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/blogs\/nov05election\/detail?blogid=14&#038;entry_id=40970\">presenting his budget to the Legislature tomorrow<\/a> in what his people say will be a short speech.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Governor Dean will be in SF on Thursday for a low-dollar fundraiser for DFA. <a href=\"https:\/\/democracyforamerica.com\/contribution_pages\/115\">Deets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Sen. Obama <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/blogs\/nov05election\/detail?blogid=14&#038;entry_id=40963\">officially honored LGBT Pride month<\/a>. Sometimes the small, symbolic gestures are meaningful. &nbsp;And this is one of those times, however it would be nice if Pres. Obama went ahead and followed up on his commitments to the LGBT community on policy goals. Oh, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/article.cgi?f=\/n\/a\/2009\/06\/01\/national\/w130105D34.DTL&#038;feed=rss.news\">Cheney supports marriage equality<\/a>. Great, there&#8217;s an ally everybody loves.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 AD-10: Jack Sieglock will <a href=\"http:\/\/bayneweb.com\/blog\/archives\/4151\">seek a rematch<\/a> against Alyson Huber, who won by a scant 400 or so votes in 2008. &nbsp;Huber&#8217;s district has actually grown slightly more blue since the election, Randy Bayne claims she&#8217;s winning the respect of her constituents, and she&#8217;ll have the incumbency advantage. &nbsp;But more and more I&#8217;m thinking 2010 will be a crapshoot, so this race should be competitive.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 CA-10: In other news of 10th Districts, Ellen Tauscher will have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibabuzz.com\/politics\/2009\/05\/29\/tauschers-confirmation-hearing-set-for-june-9\/\">her confirmation hearing<\/a> for a State Department position next Tuesday. &nbsp;They won&#8217;t set a date for the special election until she is confirmed, but the district will get the jump on that &#8211; the first candidate forum <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibabuzz.com\/politics\/2009\/06\/01\/first-cd10-candidate-forum-set-for-democrats\/\">has already been scheduled<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sacbee.com\/static\/weblogs\/capitolalertlatest\/022725.html?mi_rss=Capitol%20Alert\">Senate rejected<\/a> SB 250, the pet sterilization bill. Sen. Florez had taken over the bill from Asm.
