The ads for the special election are on the way. And while we haven’t seen any ads for the TeeVee yet, we do have some radio ads. These ones are from the California Teachers Association led effort to pass Props 1A and 1B. They’re also available at their website. Sorry for the problems with the audio, I think it’s soemthing to do with the streaming.
This one focuses on the teacher layoffs. There is another one over the flip that features somebody oddly excited about voting for Props 1A and 1B, because “finally they get in Sacramento.”
Second Prop 1A/1B Commercial:
This appears to be the buzzword they’re going with to describe 1A. I’m curious how ensuring that less money can be spent from the General Fund year-over-year “stabilizes” anything, but I’m sure they’ll tell me soon.
Really really disappointed in the CTA, they usually have more sense.
I suppose 1B was a shrewed move though, without it the CTA would be nowhere near this stuff…
