Grass roots video project – Stories from Californians show need for health reform

Are you looking for ways for your friends and family to understand we need health reform?

StoriesOfHealth.org has videos of Californians from all over the state – Fresno, Oakland, San Jose – and from all walks of life – teachers, parents, veterans, people with disabilities, people between jobs – regular people – talking about their experience with the health care system.  Personal stories that hit home the need for reform.

Pati is a registered nurse in Corte Madera who lost her job and can’t afford health insurance.

Eleanor in Fremont started a high-tech business and lost everything because of medical problems.

Real people’s stories say health reform is needed.  To hear and share the stories, go to the StoriesOfHealth site.

StoriesOfHealth.org Stories of Health is an independent project created by Stanford Williams and Paul Schreiber. They recently travelled around the state doing interviews for these videos.  Paul Schreiber lives in SF, works in tech, and who took time off to volunteer for Obama in Chicago.
