The “compromise” extension of tax cuts passed the house. The California Republicans voted 18-1 in favor, John Campbell (CA-48) was the only vote against.

who hammered the tax giveaway and the afghan war pretty bluntly in the davis enterprise. nice to see a deficit hawk actually come out against this mess, when so many of them are really just GOP soak-the-poor types in disguise.
