Senator Boxer. Carly Fiorina. Smackdown.

The Senate debate will be streamed live at 7 PM on ktvu.com, as well as on the real tv in the Bay area on Channel 2. See the flip for full details on where to watch/listen to the debate.

There are a number of major issues to be discussed, but expect to hear a lot of questions about the economy, jobs, and perhaps a word or two about the environment. Any thoughts?

  1. And Fiorina wastes no time in belting out the blatant lies:  she claims the “average California family” would pay $1,600 more in taxes unless the Bush tax cuts are extended.  No, Carly, it would be you and the other wealthiest Californians who would pay more — not the “average California family.”

  2. “Actions speak louder than words” says Fiorina, and how sad that Boxer use HP to make her point about how crappy Fiorina would be.  And the list goes on…hard to stop, but I will.

…well yes, Carly, your actions to grow HP to an unsustainable size, forcing a failed merger with Compaq, sending jobs overseas and tanking the share value of HP while you walk off with a multimillion severance package for a pile of crap.

    Yes…actions speak louder than words.

  3. Hurricane was pretty dissembling tonight and she’s even worse than Empress Meg if that’s possible. I thought Barbara did what she had to do pointing out the differences between them. I also liked the take no prisoners attitude from the press towards Carly’s evasions of the questions. I also couldn’t help myself and noticed that Lincecum was handling the Rockies and getting the win on the other channel at the same time

  4. And then She let Failorina have It, Leaving a Rattled and fairly smoking hulk in Boxers wake. Go Boxer!
