As you’ve all probably heard, a massive 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti today. And as of right now, there have been 19 aftershocks, with no expected end in sight.  The capital city of Port au Prince is said to be almost completely devastated.

I thought I’d throw up some links of organizations who are assisting. If you have the ability, please consider donating.

Doctors Without Borders

Red Cross

Direct Relief International

Mercy Corps Haiti Donation Page

Oxfam’s Haiti Donation Page

Yele Haiti Wyclef Jean’s Haiti charity

To help, text “HAITI” to “90999” and a donation of $10 will be given automatically to the Red Cross to help with relief efforts, charged to your cell phone bill.

State Department Ops Center set up the following number for Americans seeking information about family members in #Haiti: 1-888-407-4747.

I’ve heard that the Los Angeles County Fire Department will be sending personnel to assist in Haiti.
